Company Profile

Finding its roots in 1920 in the small village of Ar Tawiyah, around 250 kilometers north of Riyadh, the company was legally constituted as a partnership in 1962 and was amended in June 2002 as a limited liability company. In 2004, the non-petroleum and transport operations were spun-off into another company and the name was changed to Aldrees Petroleum & Transport Services Co. Ltd. In early 2005, a third division was opened - Super 2 which will manage the operation of coffee & cake shops and car wash & car detailing centers operating within the confines of the existing gas station network of the Company. Thus far, the company has three Divisions / Operations; namely Petroleum Division, Transport Division and Super 2 Division.

Petroleum Division is engaged in the operations of the gas station network under the brand name "Petrol" in addition to performing long term contracts for the supply of fuel for government agencies and institutional clients. Transport Division is engaged in hauling services for institutional clients for the delivery of goods from all points within Saudi Arabia and including cross border destinations to neighboring countries. Super 2 operates coffee and cake stores under the brand name Super Café and car wash & car detailing under the brand name Super Wash. Actual operations will start during the second half of 2005, with targeted total 30 stores and 30 wash centers up to fiscal year 2009.

Foundation

The Company's expansion was achieved through the dedication to service quality, integrity and efficiency in all of its operations and the continuing training and development of its human resources. The Company aims to be a leader in all sectors it operates in.

History of Organization

The company was founded by the late Sheikh Mohammed Saad Aldrees, initially as an individual enterprise in 1920, tracing its roots from the village of Ar Tawiyah, northeast of Riyadh. He initially started in the trading of textile and then later on branched out in the transport of parcels and cash initially by camel, with the modern transport business starting with one truck in 1946. The progenitor of the gas station business started in 1948, with one truck and four barrels of gasoline, typical of the rolling gas station in convention at the time.
